about me.

My work moves between documentary photography and street photography.

I am a documentary photographer based in Austria, working internationally on long-term projects across Europe and West Africa. My focus lies on humanitarian environments, urban spaces, live music contexts, and portrait photography shaped by real presence rather than staged construction.

I photograph situations as I encounter them — without artificial intervention or narrative control. The work concentrates on proximity, atmosphere, and the in-between: the moments before, after, and beyond the obvious event.

Working primarily in black and white, I reduce the image to structure, light, and human interaction. This approach also defines my portrait work. Inspired by the immediacy of 1950s and 1960s paparazzi photography, I often work outside of studio environments, using direct flash and close distance to create portraits that feel raw, immediate, and unfiltered.

Recent documentary projects include work created during a humanitarian medical mission in Nigeria and a black and white street and concert series surrounding the Oasis homecoming concerts in Manchester.

Alongside personal projects, I am available for editorial and commissioned work internationally, including portrait and documentary assignments across Europe.

Each body of work forms part of an ongoing field-based practice focused on presence over spectacle.
